ESU Selected as Champions of Pride Beneficiary

East Stroudsburg University’s Gender and Sexuality Center was recognized with a monetary donation of $1,250 from the Pocono Pride Coalition (PPC), a part of the Community Foundation of Monroe County.

The center was selected as a beneficiary of this year’s Champions of Pride celebration because of the essential work the center does to support students in the LGBTQ+ community.

Genise Valcourt, coordinator of the Gender and Sexuality Center, accepted the check during a reception on Wednesday, October 22 at Vault 636 Restaurant.
