ESU Senior Receives Athletic Trainers’ Association Scholarship

Erika Johnson, an East Stroudsburg University senior majoring in athletic training has been selected as a recipient of the Henry Schein Inc. Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association Wes Jordan Scholarship Award.

Johnson, from Kresgeville, Pa., was presented with the $3,000 scholarship and a plaque at the EATA annual awards banquet on January 6 in Boston, Ma.

Johnson completed her first two years of undergraduate studies at Northampton Community College before transferring to ESU to complete her degree. She is involved in the ESU Athletic Training Student Club and serves as Secretary for the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Iota Tau Alpha: Athletic Training Honors Society.
