ESU Sport Management Students Visit Yankee Stadium

Students studying sport management at East Stroudsburg University recently had two opportunities to visit Yankee Stadium in Bronx, N.Y.

The first trip, on Sunday, April 13, allowed four students who will be freshman sport management majors at ESU this fall, a chance to engage with current students. They had the opportunity to network with members of the Yankees sales staff and visit the New York Yankees stadium museum.

The second visit, on Friday, April 25, provided networking opportunities for current sport management and College of Business and Management students. In a stadium party suite, stadium staff held a panel discussion to talk about their career paths, share advice on starting a career in the sports industry, and their seasonal and yearlong sales programs. Students asked questions about the challenges they have faced and how they have overcome them, and how they stay mentally healthy while remaining dedicated to their jobs. After the panel, the attending students had a chance to network individually with staff.
