East Stroudsburg University will hold its eighth annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Monday, February 28 from 1-3 p.m. in Lower Dansbury (the Green Street entrance of number 19 on the campus map.) This year ESU will team up with Street2Feet Outreach Center, the only day shelter and outreach program for adults who are homeless or facing homelessness in Monroe County.
Throughout the month, toiletries and personal hygiene items, socks, hats, scarves, blankets and disposable masks will be collected for the shelter. On the Day of Service the donated items will be bagged and prepared for delivery to Street2Feet.
Donations can be brought to the Center for Multicultural Affairs and Inclusive Education, located on ESU’s campus at 96 Normal Street, throughout February.
