ESU to Present Winter Choral Concert, December 3

The music department at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania will present its annual Winter Choral Concert.
The Winter Choral Concert will debut on Wednesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m., at the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall of the Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg.
Selections to be presented by the A Cappella Ensemble include: “To Be Sung on the Water” by Samuel Barber; “O Nata Lux” by Morten Lauridsen; A new arrangement of “Gabriel’s Message” by Jim Clements; and “Von alten Liebesliedern” by Johannes Brahms.
The Concert Choir will perform the traditional “Sussex Carol” as arranged by Bob Chilcott; “Shepherds’ Chorus” by Gian Carlo Menotti; “Star of Wonder” by Terre Roche; “Do You Hear What I Hear” by Regney and Baker and other selections. Both groups are under the direction of James Maroney, Ed.D., associate professor of music.
