ESU Welcomes Counsel to Political Science Class

Kimberly S. Adams, Ph.D., professor of political science at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, welcomed Kathleen M. Crotty, an attorney who litigates cases involving pharmaceutical, medical device and industrial products and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of patent litigation, to speak to her Women and Politics class on Wednesday, March 18.Ms. Crotty’s discussion included her personal career trajectory and she explained how she balances her career as a highly successful NYC attorney with family life. She provided advice on criteria for selecting law schools, preparation for the LSAT and discussed ways to succeed in school and the legal profession. “It is vitally important that the students in my women and politics class hear from professional women like Kathleen so that they can be exposed to role models and realize their own potential,” Dr. Adams said.
