ESU’s Department of Music to Present Winter Concert Featuring the University Jazz Ensemble

The University Jazz Ensemble of East Stroudsburg University will feature a mixture of classic jazz and seasonal favorites at its winter concert Thursday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall of the university’s Fine & Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg.
The program will include a performance of “Loss” by Don Gillis, featuring trumpet soloist Mitch Mikuchonis, a sophomore from Stroudsburg, Pa., majoring in fine arts-music. Otis C. French, Ph.D., associate professor of music, is director of the ensemble.
