La Playa D.C. provides a focus on the reality of Afro-Colombians in the nation’s capital city of Bogotá. After the screening, Annie Mendoza, Ph.D., associate professor of modern languages will lead a discussion and question and answer session.
The event is hosted by ESU’s Department of Modern Languages, Philosophy & Religion; the Center for Multicultural Affairs & Inclusive Education; and the Kemp Library. The movie screening and discussion are open to the public at no cost.
