The Madelon Powers Gallery of East Stroudsburg University will host the Annual Student Artist Guild and Juried Art + Media + Design Student Exhibition from March 27 to April 12.
Entries will include a wide array of artistic media, including paintings, graphic design, product design, drawing, photography, film, video, digital painting, sculpture, mixed media, 3D prints and more. This year’s exhibit will also include the work created by the Student Minecraft Club.
The Student Artist Guild, an award-winning and dedicated student organization that promotes cultural enrichment for the campus and larger community, oversees organizing the exhibition. Prizes will be awarded that will celebrate the participants’ exceptional talent and hard work.
The gallery will hold the reception and award ceremony on Wednesday, March 27, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. With this year’s theme being a “mystical enchanted garden,” guests are encouraged to dress formally and wear flowers. Both the exhibit and reception are open to the public at no cost.
The Madelon Powers Gallery is located in the university’s Fine and Performing Arts Center and is open Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For more information about the exhibition or reception, email esuarts@esu.edu or call the Fine and Performing Arts Events Line at (570) 422-3694.
