East Stroudsburg University invites the general public to a double feature show, “Phases of the Moon” at 7 p.m. and “Passport to the Universe” at 8 p.m. in the McMunn Planetarium in the Warren E. ’55 and Sandra Hoeffner Science and Technology Center on Friday, March 7.
“Phases of the Moon” explores the mysteries and misunderstandings behind our nearest cosmic neighbors. “Passport to the Universe,” narrated by Academy Award winner Tom Hanks, guides the audience through the visual re-creation of our universe.
The show is open to the public at no cost, but reservations are required due to a limited number of seats. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and should be made at www.esu.edu/planetarium starting at 8 a.m. on March 3. The program is suitable for children of all ages. Please note the planetarium will be extremely dark.
