ESU’s Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice Department Hosts 2nd Annual Law Enforcement Partnership Day

East Stroudsburg University’s Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice Department will host its second annual “Law Enforcement Partnership Day,” Thursday, April 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the grassy area behind Koehler Fieldhouse.
State and local police agencies from Pennsylvania and New Jersey will speak about their roles in public safety, criminal investigations, community relations and recruitment. Bethlehem Police’s Mounted Unit and K9 unit will demonstrate several policing techniques.
This event is open to the public at no cost. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for fall semester 2014. For more information, contact Professor Richard A. Ruck, ESU instructor of criminal justice, at 570-422-3453.
