Five Inducted into Iota Chi, ESU’s Chapter of National Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha

Five East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania students were inducted into Iota Chi, ESU’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society. Pictured from left to right are: Collin H. Dudeck, a senior from Pine Beach, N.J., majoring in political science and business management; and Ronald Hanaki, a senior from East Stroudsburg, Pa., majoring in political science, computer science, business management and computer security. The other students inducted but not pictured are: Nicole A. Bernstein, a graduate student from East Stroudsburg, Pa., seeking a master’s degree in management and leadership with a concentration in public administration; Jennifer M. Kornecki, a graduate student from Henryville, Pa., seeking a master’s degree in management and leadership with a concentration in public administration; and Shawn Martell, a graduate student from Bethlehem, Pa., seeking a master’s degree in political science.
Five East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania students were inducted into Iota Chi, ESU’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society. The induction, held April 30, was part of the political science department’s annual reception.
Pi Sigma Alpha is the only honor society in the United States for college students focusing on political science and government. The society, aimed at stimulating scholarship and intelligent interest in political science, sponsors programs and events of value to the profession and teaching of political science, on both the national and chapter levels.
The ESU students inducted into the honor society were: Collin H. Dudeck, a senior from Pine Beach, N.J., majoring in political science and business management; Ronald Hanaki, a senior from East Stroudsburg, Pa., majoring in political science, computer science, business management and computer security; Nicole A. Bernstein, a graduate student from East Stroudsburg, Pa., seeking a master’s degree in management and leadership with a concentration in public administration; Jennifer M.
