Homecoming Weekend Festivities Set for East Stroudsburg University

East Stroudsburg University invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members to celebrate Homecoming 2026 from October 1-3. An exciting weekend packed with activities kicks off on Thursday when this year’s Homecoming Royalty candidates are revealed during Warrior Madness. Other festivities include the Patricia Graham Step Show, the annual Remembrance Day ceremony, athletics events, a Homecoming Rally and fireworks show, and more.

The Alumni Association welcomes back all alumni, including the class of 1976 celebrating their 50-year reunion. All alumni will have the opportunity to visit campus and participate in the annual alumni tailgate. Homecoming activities are not limited to campus, as local businesses in Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg are also getting in on the festivities with Paint the Town. ESU students studying art + media + design will paint the windows of local participating businesses to show their warrior spirit.

All activities listed below are open to the public:

Thursday, October 1

  • Pink Light Walk, 5 p.m. Science and Technology Center Lawn
  • Warrior Madness, 6:30 p.m., Koehler Fieldhouse
  • Patricia Graham Step Show (hosted by Cultural Greek Council), 7 p.m., Abeloff Center for the Performing Arts

Friday, October 2

  • Remembrance Day Ceremony, 11 a.m., Stroud Henge (Front of Campus)
  • Leadership and Service Award Plaque Reveal Ceremony, 3 p.m., Front of Campus
  • Volleyball vs. Shepherd, 6 p.m., Koehler Fieldhouse
  • Homecoming Rally, 8 p.m., Eiler-Martin Stadium
    • Events include a pep rally to celebrate ESU fall sports, crowning of ESU royalty, and a fireworks display

Saturday, October 3

  • All Alumni and University Tailgate, 10 a.m., Rosenkrans Parking Lot (FS3 on the campus map)
  • Fan Zone, 10 a.m., across from Rosenkrans Parking Lot
  • Football vs. West Chester, 1:05 p.m., Eiler-Martin Stadium
  • Volleyball vs. West Chester, 2 p.m., Koehler Fieldhouse
