Homecoming Weekend Festivities Set for East Stroudsburg University October 18-19

East Stroudsburg University invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members to celebrate Homecoming 2024. An exciting weekend packed with activities kicks off on Friday, October 18 with a day filled with events including the annual Remembrance Day celebration, athletics events, annual Homecoming bonfire, and more.

The Alumni Association welcomes back all alumni, including the class of 1974 celebrating their 50-year reunion. All alumni will have the opportunity to visit campus and participate in the annual alumni tailgate. Homecoming activities are not limited to campus, as local businesses in Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg are also getting in on the festivities with Paint the Town. ESU students studying art + media + design will paint the windows of local participating businesses to show their warrior spirit.

Friday, October18

Remembrance Day Ceremony

11 a.m., Stroud Henge (Front of Campus)

Leadership and Service Award Plaque Reveal Ceremony

3 p.m., Front of Campus

ESU Alumni Swim Meet

5 p.m., Koehler Fieldhouse

Bonfire

8:00 p.m., Parking Lot 23 (behind Dansbury Commons)

Events include a pep rally to celebrate ESU fall sports, food trucks, crowning of ESU royalty, and the annual Homecoming Bonfire.

Saturday, October 19

Women’s Soccer vs. Shepherd

1 p.m., Eiler-Martin Stadium

Pride Alumni Mixer

2-4 p.m., Gender and Sexuality Center, University Center

Fan Zone and Marketplace

2 – 6 p.m., Front of Bookstore, University Walkway

Local businesses and crafters as well as student organizations and student-run businesses will be on hand to greet Warriors fans and showcase their works and talents.

Football vs. West Chester University

6:05 p.m., Eiler-Martin Stadium (Gates open at 4:05)
