Julianna V. Bolt Art Contest Winners Selected for the 23rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Breakfast

Clavertis Miller, member, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Planning Committee; Pat Lincoln, general manager of WSBG; Wayne Bolt, husband of the late Julianna V. Bolt and member of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Planning Committee; and Joni Oye-Benintende, ESU associate professor and chair of art help judge the annual Julianna V. Bolt Art Contest Awards on December 13.

Entries were received from 52 students representing East Stroudsburg High School North, Evergreen Community Charter School, Pocono Mountain High School East, Pocono Mountain High School West, and Stroudsburg High School. Winners will be recognized at the 23rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast on Monday, January 20, 2020 in the Mattioli Recreation Center on ESU’s campus.

Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased by visiting esu.edu/mlk. General admission tickets are $40 per person, and student tickets are $15. Proceeds will benefit the Mary Gertrude Smith Boddie Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to undergraduate students of color at ESU.
