Provost’s Colloquium Series Presents a Talk on: Staying Safe on the Web

East Stroudsburg University’s Spring 2019 Provost’s Colloquium Series, will conclude with a presentation by Carol Walker, Ph.D., assistant professor of digital media technologies. The presentation “Staying Safe on the Web: A Discussion about Social Media, Cyberbullying, and How to Use the Internet to Your Best Advantage for Career Success,” will take place on Wednesday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. in Beers Lecture Hall.

This interactive session is an opportunity to learn valuable information regarding internet safety, cyberbullying, how to avoid pitfalls, and how use the internet to your advantage for future career success. Dr. Walker, who has been presenting in these areas for a decade, will answer questions on topics including social media safety; maximizing your social media to attain your dream career; and cyberbullying, helping attendees gain a better understanding of what programs are the most current and those that may have the most impact on family and future success. Walker’s social media research has been published and presented in regional, state, and international journals and conferences.
