The East Stroudsburg University chapter of Public Relations Student Society of American (PRSSA) recently donated $75 gift cards to ShopRite supermarket to the Warrior Food Pantry.
The group raised money during ESU Family Weekend in September. Dr. Amy Freeman, director of health and wellness at ESU, suggested gift cards over food donations.
“The needs of the Warrior Food Pantry vary from week to week, and lately our shelves have been running close to empty,” Dr. Freeman said.
“To have the ability to get what is needed when it’s needed will be very helpful.
We’re very appreciative to the students involved with PRSSA for their hard work and generous donation.”
