The Department of Residence Life at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) invites community members to “Trick or Treat through the Halls” on Wednesday, October 31, from 6-8 p.m. The event, sponsored by ESU’s Residence Hall Association (RHA), is open to all elementary aged children in the community at no cost. Participating children are asked to wear their costumes and bring a trick-or-treat bag.
Trick-or-treaters will meet at 6 p.m. on the University Quad, located at the center of campus. Parents are required to accompany children to campus and must remain present throughout the course of the event. Parents may choose to escort their child(ren) through the residence halls or sit in a common area while the event takes place. Groups will be escorted from hall to hall by student volunteers from the education department and various campus organizations. Participating students will hand out treats from their dormitory rooms.
RHA is an elected council of men and women from each residence hall on campus. The organization works toward enhancing residence life for students. For more information or directions contact Jeter Smith, resident director of Linden Hall and the RHA advisor, at smithj@esu.edu or by calling 570-422-3123.
