Senator Casey Visits ESU, Reaffirms “It’s on Us”

East Stroudsburg University welcomed U.S. Senator Bob Casey to campus on Monday, August 27, the first day of classes of the 2018-19 academic year.
Senator Casey spoke to student leaders about the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act.
Casey explained how the legislation demands uniform reporting of incidents of stalking, sexual assault, domestic violence and dating violence on all college campuses.
He also stressed the importance of bystander education, ensuring students know how to intervene in situations that involve sexual violence.
