The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) at East Stroudsburg University is holding a coat drive. The donated coats will be given to ESU students in need of a winter coat.
“The four pillars of NRHH are recognition, leadership, academic excellence, and service,” said chapter president, Makayla McCloskey, a senior majoring in early childhood educations from Philadelphia, Pa. “We strive to give back to the campus community in meaningful ways, and we realized that there is a sincere need for coats among our peers, especially heavier winter coats which can be costly.”
New and gently used coats are being accepted at the front desk of Sycamore Suites. At the conclusion of the drive, NRHH will host a hot cocoa party to thank those who donated.
