East Stroudsburg University and Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Pocono once again partnered for the annual Pink Light Walk to raise awareness for breast cancer and to honor those facing it.
The event began with an information fair at ESU followed by a walk from campus to LVH-Pocono’s Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center. At the center there were remarks from PVPG’s surgical oncologist, Krista Bott, MD, and the Pink Light Walk Honorary Chair.
The event concluded with the lighting of a tree in pink lights in front of the center.
