The Departments of Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice Hosts a Law Enforcement Partnership Day at ESU

The Departments of Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) hosted a Law Enforcement Partnership Day at ESU on Thursday April 11, 2013.
The event featured ESU University Police and several local police agencies.
The goal was to provide attendees with an opportunity to meet law enforcement officers in order to learn, share ideas, and participate in demonstrations of police equipment.

Attendees saw a police equestrian demonstration by the City of Bethlehem Police Department. Officer Jon Buskirk and Pharro.
ESU students, especially those studying in the fields of criminal justice, sociology and social work, were invited to interact with police officers and officials and there were recruitment opportunities for interested students.
