Pete Earley will discuss his experiences and what he found in the broader mental health system. A former Washington Post reporter, Earley is the author of three novels and 10 nonfiction books, including the New York Times bestseller, \u201cThe Hot House: Life Inside Leavenworth Prison.\u201d This talk is being held in conjunction with National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month. National Depression Screening Day is Oct. 9 and free depression screenings will be held Oct. 6-10 around the region. Appointments are suggested but walk-ins are welcome.
