The music department at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania will present its annual Winter Choral Concert.<\/p>\n
The Winter Choral Concert will debut on Wednesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m., at the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall of the Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg.<\/p>\n
Selections to be presented by the A Cappella Ensemble include: \u201cTo Be Sung on the Water\u201d by Samuel Barber; \u201cO Nata Lux<\/em>\u201d by Morten Lauridsen; A new arrangement of \u201cGabriel\u2019s Message\u201d by Jim Clements; and \u201cVon alten Liebeslieder<\/em>n\u201d by Johannes Brahms.<\/p>\n The Concert Choir will perform the traditional \u201cSussex Carol\u201d as arranged by Bob Chilcott; \u201cShepherds\u2019 Chorus\u201d by Gian Carlo Menotti; \u201cStar of Wonder\u201d by Terre Roche; \u201cDo You Hear What I Hear\u201d by Regney and Baker and other selections. Both groups are under the direction of James Maroney, Ed.D., associate professor of music.<\/p>\n
