Celebrate the Holidays at ESU!<\/strong> Please join President Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D., and your friends and colleagues as we celebrate the winter season with the following events, open to all:<\/p>\n ESU\u2019s McMunn Planetarium Hosting Double Feature Sky Show, at 7:00 PM and Second Show at 8:00 PM, Friday, December 5 in the McMunn Planetarium in the Warren E. \u201955 and Sandra Hoeffner Science and Technology Center<\/strong>. \u201cLong Winter Nights\u201d explores the sights of the local evening skies during this time of year while \u201cPassport to the Universe\u201d explains the location of our planet and solar system in the vast cosmos. The program is open to the general public. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children under 12 or seniors over 60. Tickets are available now at http:\/\/quantumnew.esu.edu\/museum\/?page_id=23<\/a>. No tickets are available at the door. Programs are suitable for children but be advised that the planetarium will be quite dark during the sky show and feature show. Sign-in begins at 8:30 AM in the lobby of Zimbar. Participation fee is $20 with dri-fi t-shirt or $10 without shirt. All proceeds will benefit the student PDS Scholarship Fund. Men and women with prior dance experience in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and hip-hop are encouraged to audition. The audition will be like a dance class. No prepared solo is needed. Students accepted into University Dance Company are required to enroll in and attend DANC 315: Dance Performance & Production (1 cr) MW 2:00 to 3:45 PM.
