Assuring a Prosperous Monroe County.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-14211\" src=\"http:\/\/quantumnew.esu.edu\/insider\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/econ-logo.jpg\" alt=\"Economic Outlook Summit logo\" \/>The Program will include presentations on<em> Re-Energizing our Economy &#8212;<\/em> the Monroe 2030 Action Team Work Plan, results from the Monroe County Business Climate Survey, and the 2016 Monroe County Economic Scorecard which compares Monroe County to its neighboring counties: Carbon, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Northampton, Wayne and Pike in the following economic indicators: earnings, business climate, employment, healthcare, education and housing. The Summit will also feature three panel discussions focusing on community collaboration, workforce development and small business and entrepreneurship, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Summit sponsors include: Sanofi Pasteur, Pocono Medical Center, St. Luke\u2019s Monroe Campus, Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Met-Ed, PNC, Aquatopia, Camelback Resort, The Inn at Pocono Manor, Michael Baxter &amp; Associates, Monroe County Bar Association, Kalahari Resorts and Conventions, Pennsylvania CareerLink, Pocono Mountains Economic Development Corporation, Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce, and Pocono Mountains Keystone Innovation Zone.<\/p>\n<p>The Summit is open to the general public for $40 per person, payable to ESU, and includes breakfast and lunch. Seating for the summit is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
