Jobs\u00ae, STEM Jobs<sup>SM<\/sup>, and Military Spouse.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/quantumnew.esu.edu\/insider\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/military_friendly_logo18.png\" alt=\"Military Friendly Logo\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-17635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/quantum.esu.edu\/insider\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/military_friendly_logo18.png 150w, https:\/\/quantum.esu.edu\/insider\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/military_friendly_logo18-100x100.png 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/>First published in 2009, Military Friendly\u00ae Schools is the most comprehensive, powerful resource for veterans today. Each year, the list of Military Friendly\u00ae Schools is provided to service members and their families, helping them select the best college, university, or trade school to receive the education and training needed to pursue a civilian career.<\/p>\n<p>Institutions earning the Military Friendly\u00ae School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from Victory Media\u2019s proprietary survey. More than 1,400 schools participated in the 2018 survey.\u00a0 Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by VICTORY with input from the Military Friendly<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong> Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution\u2019s survey scores with the assessment of the institution\u2019s ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer) and Loan Default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.<\/p>\n<p>June Pepe, assistant director of veterans services is proud of the support ESU offers to student veterans. \u201cServices include everything from educational needs such as help with obtaining scholarship and grants to bringing in guest speakers and providing a safe space for people to share similar life experiences,\u201d Pepe said.<\/p>\n<p>The 2018-2019 Military Friendly\u00ae Schools list was published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine. ESU will be featured in the annual Guide to Military Friendly\u00ae Schools, special education issues of G.I.
