Two students from East Stroudsburg University were semi-finalists in the eighth annual Student Business Plan Competition sponsored by Pennsylvania\u2019s State System of Higher Education (PASSHE).<\/p>\n
At left, Jose Nunez, a junior business management major from Allentown, PA developed Nu-Tech, LLC, a next generation smart apparel company targeting professionals in the sports industry seeking to improve performance and prevent injuries. <\/p>\n
Nickolas Frassinelli, on the right, is a junior majoring in physics from East Stroudsburg, PA., developed Writer\u2019s Terminal, a website that will sell digital products and services to amateur writers to encourage and inspire them to finish and publish their novels. <\/p>\n
Its main features will be a tool to provide cash incentives to productive writers. Presenting the semi-finalist certificates is Dave Dentler, senior director of membership development at the Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU), the platinum sponsor of the PASSHE Student Business Plan Competition.<\/p>\n
The annual business plan competition is designed to provide student entrepreneurs with the opportunity to share their original business plans and to win funds to assist in the start-up or expansion of their businesses.
