East Stroudsburg University will host EdCamp, a professional development opportunity for educators by educators. The camp will take place in Stroud Hall on ESU\u2019s campus on Wednesday, August 14 from 8 a.m. \u2013 noon.<\/p>\n
EdCamp will allow educators to design and attend sessions of their choice, depending on their needs. \u201cAt the start of the day participants will design desired sessions,\u201d said Brooke Langan, director of field experiences and partnerships in ESU\u2019s College of Education. \u201cParticipants will be able to share their areas expertise and attend sessions they want to learn more about. The idea is for each educator to walk away with information they can use with the students in their classroom immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n
EdCamp invites local educators to join ESU faculty and teacher candidates for this free event. Act 48 hours for Pennsylvania educators will be provided.<\/p>\n
