This year\u2019s theme,\u201cIgnite Your Spirit\u201d, will kindle the warrior spirit at ESU. An exciting weekend packed with activities kicks off on Friday, October 18 with the bonfire and Homecoming Royalty reveal. The bonfire will take place from 8:45 to 9:30 p.m. on the rugby field behind Dansbury Commons. Immediately following the bonfire, the After Dark Park begins with glow in the dark swings, chairs and seesaws and food and games.<\/p>\n<p>The Alumni Association welcomes back all alumni, including the class of 1969 celebrating their 50 year reunion. All alumni will have the opportunity to participate in a campus bus tour, as well as the annual alumni tailgate. Homecoming activities are not limited to campus, and local businesses in Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg are getting in on the festivities with Paint the Town. Art + Design students from ESU will paint the windows of local businesses to show their warrior spirit.<\/p>\n<p>All activities listed below are open to the public:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, October 18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Remembrance Day Program<\/p>\n<p>2 p.m., Beers Lecture Hall<\/p>\n<p>ESU celebrates the lives of students, faculty, staff, and alumni who passed away this past academic year.<\/p>\n<p>ESU Women\u2019s Volleyball vs. California (Pa.)<\/p>\n<p>7 p.m., Koehler Fieldhouse<\/p>\n<p>Cost: $8 adults, $4 seniors\/children under 12<\/p>\n<p>ESU Women\u2019s Soccer vs. Kutztown<\/p>\n<p>7 p.m., Eiler-Martin Stadium<\/p>\n<p>Cost: $8 adults, $4 seniors\/children under 12<\/p>\n<p>Bonfire and Homecoming Royalty Reveal<\/p>\n<p>8:45 p.m., Pit Rugby Field (behind Dansbury Commons)<\/p>\n<p>Events include a pep rally to celebrate ESU fall sports, and the reveal of the 2019 Homecoming Royalty.<\/p>\n<p>After Dark Park<\/p>\n<p>9:30-11:00 p.m., Pit Rugby Field (behind Dansbury Commons)<\/p>\n<p>Following the bonfire, there will be glow in the dark swings, chairs and seesaws, along with food and giveaways.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, October 19<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fan Zone<\/p>\n<p>12-2 p.m., Centre Street in front of the stadium<\/p>\n<p>Come support the Warrior teams and enjoy face painting, a fashion show, performances, and more.<\/p>\n<p>ESU Field Hockey vs. Mansfield<\/p>\n<p>12 p.m., Whitenight Field<\/p>\n<p>Cost: $8 adults, $4 seniors\/children under 12<\/p>\n<p>ESU Football vs. Bloomsburg<\/p>\n<p>2 p.m., Eiler-Martin Stadium<\/p>\n<p>Cost: $15 chairback tickets, $10 general admission, $5 seniors\/children under 12<\/p>\n<p>ESU Women\u2019s Volleyball vs. Seton Hill<\/p>\n<p>4:30 p.m., Koehler Fieldhouse<\/p>\n<p>Cost: $8 Adults, $4 seniors\/children under 12<\/p>\n<p>For more information on any of the homecoming events, please contact Joe Akob, executive director, student activity association at 570-422-3394 or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jakob@esu.edu\">jakob@esu.edu<\/a>.
