{"id":19453,"date":"2019-10-25T17:36:46","date_gmt":"2019-10-25T21:36:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/quantum.esu.edu\/insider\/?p=19453"},"modified":"2019-10-25T17:36:46","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T21:36:46","slug":"homecoming-royalty-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/quantum.esu.edu\/insider\/homecoming-royalty-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"Homecoming Royalty Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the annual homecoming bonfire pep rally on October 18, East Stroudsburg University announced Jason Dessalines, a sophomore from Philadelphia, Pa. and Denasia Mosteller, a senior majoring in criminal justice from Phillipsburg, N.J. as 2019 Homecoming Royalty.<\/p>\n<p>Dessalines, representing the Student Government Association, and Mosteller, representing National Council of Negro Women, were selected from a royalty court of 21 students. Homecoming candidates must be full time students in good standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5. The candidates were interviewed by a panel of judges where they answered questions about their experiences at ESU and how they live out the Ways of the Warrior. Interview scores made up 50% of the candidates\u2019 final score.
