{"id":20006,"date":"2020-05-29T08:30:56","date_gmt":"2020-05-29T12:30:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/quantum.esu.edu\/insider\/?p=20006"},"modified":"2020-06-05T15:59:22","modified_gmt":"2020-06-05T19:59:22","slug":"esu-for-kids-29th-annual-summer-camp-continues-virtually-in-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/quantum.esu.edu\/insider\/esu-for-kids-29th-annual-summer-camp-continues-virtually-in-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cESU For Kids\u201d 29th Annual Summer Camp Continues Virtually in 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While many summer camps in Pennsylvania have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, East Stroudsburg University will continue its \u201cESU For Kids Day Camp\u201d in a virtual format for summer 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The three-week day camp, designed for campers 6 to 18 years old, is scheduled Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from July 13-31.<\/p>\n<p>All courses will be offered online and will include arts and crafts, music lessons, science programs, language, geography, and literature, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Each class is one hour long and students can sign up for one class, take a full day of seven classes, or anything in between.<\/p>\n<p>All classes are taught by certified educators and designed to spark curiosity and student engagement.<\/p>\n<p>To participate in the virtual day camp, students must have a device (desktop, laptop, etc.) with a built-in camera so they can participate in the Google Classroom.<\/p>\n<p>For courses requiring supplies, arrangements will be made for curbside pick-up before the camp begins.
