The presentation \u201cUnderstanding the Importance of Creating Accessible Content\u201d will take place on Wednesday, March 24 at 5:30 p.m. Access the presentation via this Zoom link: <a href=\"https:\/\/esu-online.zoom.us\/j\/93887773953\">https:\/\/esu-online.zoom.us\/j\/93887773953<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Boyle, Roselli, and Shaika will discuss accessibility through the lenses of legality, creation, education, and the diverse population that encompasses the human blueprint of ESU. Howard Gardner of Harvard University identified seven distinct intelligences and these different intelligences explain how individuals learn, remember, and understand information in different ways.<\/p>\n<p>Much research has been done to understand how people learn and how to best create content that appeals to multiple intelligences. Communicating to diverse audiences, whether in person or virtually, presents an additional set of challenges. The presenters will inform their audience about how to ensure that our intended audiences (regardless of ability, culture, or level of understanding) are receiving our messages as they are intended to be received.\u00a0And how to make sure that everyone has access to our messages, and educational content.
