The graduate commencement ceremony will take place Friday at 6:45 p.m. Irakli Kakauridze M\u201918 D.H.Sc.\u201924 will be the student commencement speaker. Undergraduate ceremonies will take place on Saturday. The ceremony awarding bachelor\u2019s degrees from ESU\u2019s College of Health Sciences and College of Business and Management will begin at 8:45 a.m. Lyndsay Floystad \u201924 will be the student speaker. The ceremony awarding bachelor\u2019s degrees from ESU\u2019s College of Arts and Sciences and College of Education will begin at 1:45 p.m. Xzy-Naye Campbell \u201924 will be the student speaker. Susan Dillmuth-Miller, Au.D., University Senate president, will be the grand marshal for the ceremonies, which will honor ESU\u2019s December 2023 and May 2024 graduates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Irakli Kakauridze<\/strong>, a Doctor of Health Sciences candidate from Howell, N.J., is a public health professional with over six years of experience. He is currently the hub director at Partners in Prevention of Hudson County. Kakauridze oversees the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based mental health programs for the youth of Hudson County. He completed his bachelor\u2019s degree at Springfield College and pursued his master\u2019s and doctorate at ESU. After graduation, Kakauridze plans to celebrate with those closest to him, with a goal to pursue a career in higher education and become the CEO of a non-profit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lyndsay Floystad<\/strong>, a graduating nursing student from Milford, Pa., is a Dean\u2019s List student who holds several leadership positions on campus. She is the president of the Student Nurses Association Program, the vice president of the Tri Alpha Honors Society, and the vice president of the Gen One Club for first generation students. She is also a student mentor for the College Bound program for students from JT Lambert Intermediate School and from the Stroudsburg School District. Floystad has four years of experience working with the Atlantic Health System at Newton Medical Center in Newton, N.J. She is currently an emergency department technician, has been a patient transporter, and was previously a member of the student volunteer program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Xzy-Naye Campbell<\/strong>, a graduating communication major from Goshen, N.Y., is a member of ESU\u2019s honors program and a leader in several campus organizations. She is president of the Public Relations Student Society Association (PRSSA), vice president of the Entrepreneur Club, vice president of Douglass Debate, a student undergraduate communication assistant with the communication department, resident advisor, and was public relations coordinator for the History Club and student coordinator with the Schisler Museum and McMunn Planetarium.\u00a0Campbell was a transfer student to ESU from Drexel University and holds a 4.0 grade-point average. She has been a summer program supervisor for the Monroe County Y.E.S. Program and participated in internship\/co-op experiences with ECCRGROUP, Inc. and Pocono Environmental Education Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Susan Dillmuth-Miller<\/strong> is an associate professor of communication sciences and disorders. She is ESU\u2019s clinic audiologist and is president of the University Senate. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses. She has presented internationally on the effects of rheumatic disease and hearing manifestations. Scholarly endeavors include examining knowledge and attitudes of excessive noise levels and hearing protection in young adults and concussion and audiological characteristics. She advises the ESU Sign Language Club.<\/p>\n<p>Kerri Green M\u201997 Ed.D. \u201920\u00a0will be <a href=\"https:\/\/quantum.esu.edu\/insider\/healthcare-career-development-leader-kerri-green-ed-d-20-set-to-deliver-speech-at-esus-graduate-commencement-ceremony\/\">the keynote speaker at the graduate commencement ceremony on Friday<\/a>.
