East Stroudsburg University invites community members to campus for its annual Family Weekend activities, Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20. The weekend is designed to bring campus and community together and introduce students\u2019 family members to the campus and surrounding Pocono Mountains region. Families can learn more about their students\u2019 lives at ESU, as well as participate in fun events held by ESU and the local community.<\/p>\n
The weekend will host events on campus for all ages and interests. Legacy families are invited to a lunch reception with President Kenneth Long for the annual Pinning Ceremony and their induction into the ESU Legacy Program while first generation families are invited to spend time getting to know the campus and surrounding communities. ESU Family Weekend kicks off with a petting zoo on Friday evening on the front lawn of Warren E. \u201955 & Sandra Hoeffner Science & Technology Center, Schisler Museum tours, and an ESU women\u2019s volleyball match. Saturday offers a First Responder and Military Showcase, Schisler Museum tours and McMunn Planetarium shows, two more opportunities to catch ESU\u2019s volleyball team, the Warrior Bash featuring family friendly games and activities, and ESU\u2019s Family Amazing Race Experience which families competing around campus. The weekend ends with Pocono Latin Fest in the Pit Parking Lot (Lot 23 on the campus map.)<\/p>\n
