East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania decks the halls a little early this year as students, faculty, staff and community members stop by the front entrance of Stroud Hall to sign an 8′ X 20′ holiday card on Tuesday, November 6.<\/p>\n
ESU President Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D., was on hand during lunchtime to serve cookies and hot chocolate to participants.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was wonderful to see our campus community come together for something so fun and festive,\u201d said Welsh.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe card signing also gave me a wonderful opportunity to meet more students, faculty and staff and to see everyone at their best.\u201d<\/p>\n
ESU\u2019s card will be featured in a holiday video greeting that will be posted on the university\u2019s website and YouTube channel sometime after Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n
It will also be sent electronically in lieu of a paper greeting card as another sustainable initiative being taken by ESU.<\/p>\n
The video will include clips of individuals signing the card, offering holiday greetings, singing and having fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
