East Stroudsburg University invites the general public to attend a sky show, entitled \u201cThe Stars of Spring\u201d and a feature show, \u201cTwo Small Pieces of Glass,\u201d at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013. The shows will be held in the McMunn Planetarium in the Warren E. ’55 and Sandra Hoeffner Science and Technology Center.<\/p>\n
\u201cStars of Spring\u201d describes what can be seen in the heavens during the spring months. The feature show, \u201cTwo Small Pieces of Glass,\u201d details the history of the telescope\u2014from the time of Galileo to the launch of NASA\u2019s Hubble space telescope.<\/p>\n
The program is open to the general public at no cost, but reservations are required due to limited seating. Reservations will be taken online starting at 8:00 a.m., May 13, on a first-come, first-serve basis at www.esu.edu\/planetarium<\/a>. Those interested in attending planetarium events may reserve up to four seats for a specific show.
