The series, titled \u201cSmall Business Marketing Boot Camp- Business Success Doesn\u2019t Happen By Chance,\u201d will be hosted by Karl Sterns, President, KMS Marketing Solutions, LLC. This four-part seminar series will offer small business owners in-depth discussions on leveraging social media to improve marketing results.<\/p>\n<p>The series is co-sponsored by the ESU Business Accelerator and NEPA Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). The Business Accelerator program was launched in December 2001 with the goal of encouraging economic development, building a diversified business base, and increasing family-sustaining job opportunities in northeastern Pennsylvania. Its mission is to provide an entrepreneurial environment that supports business start-ups, encourages innovation and enhances the economic vitality of the region.<\/p>\n<p>All seminars will be held at the ESU Innovation Center, 562 Independence Road (Brown Street and Route 447), East Stroudsburg, Pa. \u00a0The seminars are open to the general public at no cost, however seating is limited and reservations are recommended.<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming seminars are:<\/p>\n<p><b>Seminar 1: \u201cThe Power of Email Marketing,\u201d Monday July 29, 2013, 9-11:30 a.m.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Effective Emails \u2013 Assuring Email Messages are Read.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This seminar explores the process of email marketing to maximize the possibility that the email is read. Participants will learn how to develop effective email marketing strategies beyond email blasts.<\/p>\n<p><b>Seminar 2: \u201cSocial Media Made Simple,\u201d Tuesday July 30, 2013, 9-11:30 a.m.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>It\u2019s Not About \u201cClever\u201d Cat Videos \u2013 Really? <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Social media has transformed the landscape of communication for both social and business contacts. Participants will learn how to effectively incorporate social media tools and techniques to maximize marketing opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><b>Seminar 3: \u201cGrow Your Business with Email and Social Media,\u201d Monday, August 5, 2013, 9-11:30 a.m.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Preparing Your Marketing Plan<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you fail to plan, you plan to fail!
