All plays were written by ESU undergraduates.<\/p>\n<p>The featured works include: <i>The Elephant in the Room<\/i> and <i>Farewell Love<\/i>, both written by Andrew Confair; <i>Strangers<\/i>, by Tyler Aiden Kittle; and <i>Heaven\u2019s Diner<\/i> by Kimberly Van Felton.<\/p>\n<p>All performances are in the Dale Snow Theatre of the university\u2019s Fine and Performing Art Center, Normal and Marguerite streets. The Dale Snow Theatre is located on the ground floor of the center.<\/p>\n<p>Curtain times for the performances are at 8 p.m. on November 21-23 and at 2 p.m. on November 24.\u00a0General admission is $12 for adults; $10 for senior citizens, faculty and staff with I.D.; $7 for ESU students with I.D.; and $5 for youth. These plays are recommended for older high school students and adults.<\/p>\n<p><i>The Elephant in the Room<\/i> is the story of a man who\u2019s trying to move on with his life after the death of his wife. Unfortunately, his past comes back to haunt him\u2014literally.<\/p>\n<p>In <i>Farewell Love<\/i>, a man meets his girlfriend for lunch.\u00a0During the meal, he learns something about her that gives new meaning to the phrase, \u201cit\u2019s not you, it\u2019s me,\u201d which will change their relationship forever.<\/p>\n<p>Playwright Andrew Confair, a senior from Williamsport, Pa., majoring in hotel, restaurant and tourism management, is directing <i>The Elephant in the Room<\/i>.\u00a0 Joseph Dougherty, a senior from Pottstown, Pa., majoring in theatre and minoring in business management, is directing <i>Farewell Love<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><i>Strangers<\/i> exhibits four very different people meeting at a bus stop who seem to be stuck in similar situations. Once they start getting to know each other, they may not be strangers after all\u2026or are they? Tyler Aiden Kittle, a junior from Jim Thorpe, Pa., majoring in theatre, is the author of the play. The piece is being directed by Brandon L. Cabrera, a senior from East Stroudsburg, Pa., majoring in theatre.<\/p>\n<p><i>Heaven\u2019s Diner<\/i> tells the story of two friends who accidentally reunite at a local diner where things unexpectedly take a turn for the worse. The play was written by Kimberly Van Felton of East Stroudsburg, Pa., a senior majoring in theatre and sociology with a concentration in social work.
