East Stroudsburg University invites the general public to attend a double feature sky show titled \u201cLong Winter Nights,\u201d at 7 p.m. and \u201cTwo Small Pieces of Glass,\u201d at
\n9 p.m. on Friday, February 7. The shows will be in the McMunn Planetarium in the Warren E. \u201955 and Sandra Hoeffner Science and Technology Center.<\/p>\n
\u201cLong Winter Nights\u201d describes what can be seen in the heavens during the winter months. The feature show, \u201cTwo Small Pieces of Glass,\u201d details the history of the telescope\u2014from the time of Galileo to the launch of NASA\u2019s Hubble space telescope.<\/p>\n
The program is open to the general public at no cost, but reservations are required due to limited seating and are on a first-come, first-served basis at www.esu.edu\/planetarium<\/a>. Reservations will be taken beginning Monday, February 3.
