East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania\u2019s Student Senate would like to invite local businesses, clubs and organizations to participate in \u201cCommunity on the Quad,\u201d on Saturday, April 26, from noon to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
The 14th<\/sup> annual event, with a theme of \u201cIn the Jungle,\u201d is meant to bring the campus and local communities together for a fun, yet productive gathering for students, faculty and staff members and area residents.<\/p>\n In order to participate, Student Senate asks that you provide a nominal donation of $20 which will be used for scholarship funding through ESU\u2019s Foundation. With that donation, vendors are welcome to sell merchandise at a private space which will include two chairs and one, 6-foot table, which may be decorated to go along with this year\u2019s theme.<\/p>\n The Student Senate at East Stroudsburg University is committed to accurately representing the views of the university\u2019s student body and providing services to individual students in order to advance their academic and social progress. The Senate promotes the general welfare of ESU\u2019s student body. It serves as a medium for expressing the opinions of university students on matters of general interest by providing experience for all of its members in leadership skills and democratic government. The group is also responsible for oversight of student organizations and allocation of student activity funds.<\/p>\n
