Many kindergarteners are proud to see their finger paintings displayed on the refrigerator. These early childhood exhibits are what fueled ESU senior Morgan Weissbach’s passion for art. “I was always interested in art,” she said. “It was one of those things that I just grew up doing,”

Today, Weissbach’s award-winning artwork has moved from her parents’ refrigerator to public exhibits in the Pocono region. This year, she took second place in the “Works on Paper” category in the Pocono Arts Council’s 2016 Members’ Exhibition and won “Best in Show” at the juried Student Art Association Exhibition at ESU’s Madelon Powers Gallery.
