Gerontology Students Tutor Senior Learners

December 7, 2016 Categories: Community, News Release, Slider, Speech-Language Pathology

The students in East Stroudsburg University’s communication sciences and disorders program with a concentration in gerontology are assisting senior learners and returning adult students in using Desire2Learn (D2L).

D2L is ESU’s online learning environment used by faculty to present course material, which allows 24/7 student access.

Senior learners can become skilled in D2L and the gerontology students will get a chance to work with normally aging adults during these one-on-one tutor sessions.

To schedule a tutoring session contact Elaine M Shuey, Ph.D., professor and chair of communication sciences and disorders at 570-422-3681 or email eshuey@esu.edu.
