East Stroudsburg University Seeks Research Participants

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders of East Stroudsburg University is seeking participants for a research study on the effects impact of Rheumatic Disease and Inflammatory Arthritis have on hearing, cognition and language. Patients with Inflammatory Arthritis or Rheumatic Disease including but not limited to Psoriatic Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scleroderma, Ankylosing Spondylitis, MCTD, Lyme’s Disease, Crohn’s Disease, Fibromyalgia, or Systemic Lupus Erythematosus are invited to participate.

The research study, that will help further understand the diseases and explore potential therapy and treatment techniques, will take place at the Speech and Hearing Center located in Monroe Hall on the campus of ESU.
