East Stroudsburg University President Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D., recently hosted a reception to celebrate the announcement of a new doctoral degree in health sciences. The program, which will begin in fall 2019, offers individuals an opportunity to earn an advanced health sciences degree with two concentrations: Health Management and Administration and Advanced Research Administration. Following completion of the common core, students will choose a concentration to complete the program. One great aspect of this program is that it will be offered through weekend courses designed for the busy healthcare executive with a suggested three-year (nine-term) schedule and dissertation for completion.
