The Office of Residence Life and Housing at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania invites community members to “Trick or Treat through the Halls” on Wednesday, October 28 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event, sponsored by ESU’s Residence Hall Association (RHA), is open to all elementary aged children in the community at no cost. Participating children are asked to wear their costumes and bring a trick-or-treat bag.

Trick-or-treaters will meet on the Linden Quad, located at the center of campus, at 4:30 p.m. Parents are required to accompany children to campus and must remain present throughout the course of the event. Parents may choose to escort their child(ren) through the residence halls or sit in a common area while the event takes place. Groups will be escorted from hall to hall by student volunteers from the education department and various campus organizations.

Participating halls and residents will be handing out treats from their dormitory room or lobbies.

RHA is an elected council of students from each residence hall on campus. The organization works toward enhancing residence life for on-campus residents. For more information or directions contact Melissa Andreas, Resident Director of Minsi Hall and the RHA Adviser, at mandreas1@esu.edu or (570) 422-3729.

Please note that in the event of rain, the event may be postponed to Thursday, October 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. If postponed to the rain date, the rescheduled event will be held rain or shine.
