ESU Students Raise Record Amount for American Cancer Society

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania held its annual Relay for Life on Friday, April 5 in Koehler Fieldhouse.
Student teams competed to raise the most money for the American Cancer Society.
There were 35 teams made up of student organizations, campus departments, and athletic teams, accounting for over 600 participants.
The event raised $46,173.68, the most money ever raised at an ESU Relay for Life event.
The individual to raise the most money at this year’s Relay was Brandon Rice.
The sophomore majoring in physical education from Lansdale, Pa., raised $1,153.
Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity raised the most money as a team, bringing in $5,082.41.
