11 ESU Students Named to Who’s Who

Eleven students from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) have been selected as national outstanding leaders and will be featured in the 2015 publication, Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. For the past 81 years, this publication has honored outstanding campus leaders for their scholastic, leadership and community achievements.

ESU students being honored this year are: Dainisha Colon, a junior majoring in business management from Allentown, Pa.; Emily Creveling, a junior majoring in hotel restaurant and tourism management from Bloomsburg, Pa.; Eric Januszkiewicz, a junior majoring in biology New Paltz, N.Y.; Briana Magistro, a senior majoring in Chemical Bio Technology from Archbald, Pa.; Gabrielle Marcantoni, a junior majoring in social work from Slatington, Pa.; Maria T. Parri, a senior majoring in speech-language pathology from Shavertown, Pa.; Robert Rinehart, a senior majoring in sport management from Brodheadsville, Pa.; Eve Salzberg, a junior majoring in chemistry from Cherry Hill, N.J.; Ashley Sims, a senior majoring in biology from Hazle Township, Pa.; Carl Wambold, a junior majoring sport management from Hatboro, Pa.; Brittany R. Washington, a senior majoring in speech-language pathology from Summitville, N.Y.

The campus nominating committee and the editors of the annual Who’s Who directory have recognized these students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.

Through its years of serving higher education, Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges has become one of the most highly regarded and long-standing honors programs in the nation, having earned the overwhelming respect of college faculties and administrations. For the students – the outstanding campus leaders of the year – national recognition by the Who’s Who program marks a pinnacle of scholastic achievement.
