ESU Professor Named Eastern Psychological Association Program Chair

Bonnie Green, Ph.D., professor of psychology at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, has been appointed chairwoman of the program committee for Eastern Psychological Association (EPA). She will serve as chairwoman through June 30, 2019.
EPA was founded in 1896 and is the oldest of the regional Psychological Associations in the United States. Its sole purpose is to advance the science profession through the dissemination of professional information about the field of Psychology. EPA achieves this goal by conducting its annual meeting where the members present the latest advances in professional and scientific work to their colleagues. EPA welcomes psychologists from all fields across the discipline.
“ESU’s psychology department is dedicated to high quality research in the scholarship of teaching and learning,” Dr. Green said. “Our undergraduate research student presence at EPA annual conferences helped assure my appointment to this important position.”
“Dr. Green is an outstanding choice to serve as the chair of the Eastern Psychological Association’s Program Committee,” said Dr. Dana S. Dunn, EPA president elect and professor of psychology at Moravian College. “As a dedicated scholar and teacher, Dr. Green is well aware of the cutting-edge topics that are being studied in contemporary psychology.
