ESyou Honoree: Dr. Peter Pruim

Peter PruimIn an effort to recognize faculty and staff members for their outstanding service, Dr. Welsh has launched the ESyou campaign beginning with the fall semester, 2013. Each month during the academic year, the ESyou campaign will feature a different faculty or staff member who has demonstrated excellence in student-centered service. The purpose of the campaign is to showcase those employees who make an impact on our students every day, and for the students to get to know them.

Congratulations to our next honoree, Dr. Peter Pruim. When you see Dr. Pruim or any of our honorees around campus this year, please recognize their exemplary service by introducing yourself and thanking them personally. There is no greater acknowledgment!

  • Dr. Pruim fosters critical thinking through his involvement with One Book, One Campus.
  • He was instrumental in developing a method to solicit funds to bring noted speakers to campus.
  • Through collaboration, Dr. Pruim has helped shape the first-year experience class.

Since I first interviewed for job here back in the Spring 2007, Peter Pruim has been one of my favorite people on campus. A huge congratulations to him!

Dr. Pruim deserves this so much! He changed my life and fostered a serious passion for academics my freshman year of college. Thank you Dr. Pruim I hope you’re doing well and have a great semester!
